Merry Christmas everyone!

Tis the season for giving! And guess what, I got ALL of you something. That's right, it's the first installment in my new webcomic, SAGITTARIUS A*. JUST WHAT YOU WANTED! How did I know? Right?

Anyway, chick it out. I've set it up with it's own page.

http://sagittariusastar.tumblr.com/

When you go there make sure to click "first" to go to the beginning. I've posted a few pages there and you can check them out by going back to the start.

Go ahead. Check it out. When you're done, come back here and I'll say some things about it.  So yeah, just go read it. I'll wait here... Go now...

ALRIGHT Welcome back!

What did you think? Pretty cool huh?...

You didn't do it did you?

You just read my words and thought to yourself "yeah, fuck that" "Don't tell me what to read and when, Weaver."

Alright, fair enough. Do whatever you want.  Read it whenever you want. I'll be happy if you read it at all.

Anyway, unlike Amnia Cycle , Sagittarius A* is a story that I've had sitting around for years. It will ultimately be sixty to seventy pages. And I'm thinking that I'll be spacing out the installments to a monthly bases, while Amnia Cycle will remain a weekly thing.

Actually, that's all I'll say for now.

I'm excited to finally be getting this thing out for you guys to see.

    1. All the Sag A pages I've done so far have been broken up by working on stuff for Marvel. I wrote the story over a long stretch of time. I layer out the first 6 pages over a day and a half. Pencilling them was broken up over some period of time. There was a time when I would try to pencil one panel of Sag A a day before drawing a page of Avengers for Marvel. Then there is the gray tones… As you can see, it's hard for me to answer that question.
Are you an artist? Are you trying to gage how long you should be spending on your own work?

  2. Actually, I did go and read it, then came back to finish your post. So take that Weaver!

Good start, lots of story achieved in a single page. Rad is an interesting looking main character.
Is that a scar on his face? I'm assuming there is a deeply significant and character defining story behind it.

Incredible that you're going to have two personal comics going while you juggle professional work too!

    1. YOU LIE! And please, don't call me "Weaver."
About the scar-- You will find out about that. I think it will be surprising… Maybe not to you, cause you're a know it all.
OH Professional work will get in the way. It hasn't yet, but it will, I assure you. The only thing I want to make sure of is that only really worthwhile projects get in the way of my personal works.
