  1. Beautiful stuff, as usual. You're killing it on these Infinity pages.
Btw, Happy Birthday, man! Hope you can break away from the drawing board to celebrate!

    1. Hey thanks, Frank.
I didn't go near the drawing board all day. I did do some serious napping, which was great! And just hung out with my wife and kid. It was really good.
I really appreciate the happy birthday wishes.

  2. Thane looks interesting. He's Thanos' son, yet I wonder if he will be heroic or villainous or somewhere in-between. He's definitely got some serious potential, which is why I'm quite eager to know more about him. And is it me, or does he come off as a combination of Thanos and Sinestro?

What are your thoughts on the character?

BTW, I know it's late, but Happy Birthday and best wishes to ya!

    1. Thanks!
Thane is a cool looking dude, I think. He was designed by Jerome, even though I'm not sure that Jerome ever gets to draw him in the series...I hope Jerome is happy with my depiction and introduction of him.
I'll be honest, I haven't read any of the script for Infinity #6. Jim Cheung is doing that whole issue. So I don't really know what Thane's destiny is ether.

  3. These are great looking panels and Thane looks bad ass Dustin. Ebony Maw has been one of the most underrated members of the Black Order imho. By the looks of this page it looks like he's giving Thane a big dose of Dark Jedi mind tricks...got a feeling that the Avengers are gonna receive the brunt of that angst. Can't wait for tomorrow!

  4. Wow...#4 was fantastic. I don't think I've ever seen Thanos and BB confront each other mano y mano before. Certainly you did this meeting justice and the line detail on those pages are nuts. The panel that really stands out for me is the Thane intro in his human form. Great, expressive work that goes along way in conveying to the reader what kind of person he was...gonna be a big contrast to what his path seems to be going on.
Question with Hickman's script...he has sooo much detail and complexity in this story...does he write full script or does he leave a lot to you and Jerome on design elements and choices? Just curious how you guys collaborate on the give and take of script writing and artistic freedom...
